SAS Tour on Tuesday, April 28th
If you are interested in sending your student to Grant's SAS program, please join us for a tour on Tuesday, April 28th at 8:15.á On the tour, you will have an opportunity to view the campus and learn more about our educational program.

Grant students participate in Shakespearean Festival
Ms. Cole and a group of her drama students participated in the Spring 2015 DTASC Shakespearean Festival at Monroe High School on Saturday, April 18th.á Congrats to Kyla Rubalcava who advanced to the semi-final round.á She performed monologues from Two Gentlemen of Verona and Antony and Cleopatra.
Grant HS is now accepting applications for 2015-2016 open enrollment and SAS.

We are now accepting applications for the 2015-2016 school year. áPlease drop by the Admissions Office to pick up an application and enrollment packet.

If you are interested in touring the campus, we are hosting a tour on Thursday, March 26th at 8:15am. áPlease contact Ms. McMurrin (rlm9245@lausd.net) or drop by the Admissions Office if you would like to join us. The campus tour will include highlights of Grant's campus and programs and help answer any questions you may have.

SAS Parent Tours
We will be offering tours for prospective SAS students and their families on Tuesday, March 3rd at 8:15 am. áOur tour includes a description of our SAS program as well as classrooms and various highlights on our campus.

No reservations are required, but if you have any questions, please drop by the Admissions Office or email Ms. Evens (kevens004@gmail.com) or Ms. McMurrin (rlm9245@lausd.net).
Spring Pep Rally
Grant's gym was the scene of a surprise flash mob performance during our pep rally to kick off our spring sports and recognize the accomplishments of groups like our Aca Deca decathletes and our winter sports teams. áPerformances by Grant High School's drum line, color guard, and dance team also wowed the audience.

Lancer Aca Deca Competes at the LAUSD Aca Deca Scrimmage
Well done, Lancer Academic Decathaletes!á We are proud of you for finishing in 9th position among all the LAUSD Aca Deca teams that competed on Saturday, November 15th.

Enrique's Journey
Ms. Cole and some of her students traveled to the Los Angeles Theatre Center on Thursday, October 30th to see a matinee performance of Enrique's Journey.á The students were able to see this production as part of the National Latina/o Theatre Festival and was sponsored by the Arts Education Branch of LAUSD.
Aca Deca Scrimmage
Our Grant HS Academic Decathalon team participated in a scrimmage hosted by Granada Hills Charter High School.áá Academic Decathlon is a ten-event scholastic competition where students test in 7 objective tests (Art, Music, Science, Social Science, Economics, Math, and Literature) and 3 subjective events (Speech, Interview, and Essay).

Grant HS Academic Decathalon Students at the 2014 Fall Classic
On Friday, September 19th, our Aca Decaástudents scrimmaged against students from several other high school in the 2014 Fall Classic Invitational. áOur students tested their knowledge in math, literature, science, music, art, economics, and a special "super quiz" round.
