Grant High School currently functions under the SBM reform plan. Budgetary decis-ions are made inclusive of department chairpersons, coordinators, administrators, classified staff, and students. Budget decisions are based using student data to determine the resources that will be used to improve student achievement, for example, manipulatives, supplemental workbooks, consumables, and basic supplies. The budget is used to improve curriculum delivery by providing professional development, sub days for teachers to visit other teachers, mentorship type of support from experienced teachers to new teachers.
School Based Management is comprised of the principal, UTLA Chapter Chair, four teachers, four parents, two students and one classified representative.
