The health and safety of students and employees continues to be our top priority as a district and school. We are aware that COVID-19 infection rates are currently rising and the state and county officials are considering additional precautions. However, the district is working on plans to permit a reopening of school campuses when local officials decide it is safe and appropriate to do so.
To help us make preparations for an eventual return to campus, the district has created a guide for families.
The family guide describes the two instructional models that are available for families once it has been determined that it is safe for students to return to campus. The family guide also shares information on the health and safety practices we have taken as a school and district.
After reading the guide, we ask every family to complete the Program Selection form online at https://reopening.lausd.net/en/FamilySelection to let us know your plans by Sunday, December 6, 2020.
