Final Exams are almost here! All students are expected to be present and participate in final exams. Teachers will not be administering final exams early, so make sure you're in class each day of finals!

The 2019 Chalk Art Festival was a great success thanks to the support of faculty and staff and of course, our talented students. With over 300 students participating, this year's art was a creative exploration of the theme "Community and Connection."

All 11th grade students are expected to be in attendance May 20 - 24 to take the SBAC. Students will take summative assessments in both ELA and math. To accommodate the testing, Grant will have a block schedule on Monday - Thursday.

We will present the latest developments on the Comprehensive Modernization Project for Grant High School. The update will include project scope, design considerations, the proposed tree removal and replacement plan, as well as projected construction schedules.

We invite you to join us on Friday, May 17th for the 7th annual Digital Arts Film Festival sponsored by the CPDA Magnet. Everyone is welcome to join us. Tickets at $5.00 at the door or $4.00 pre-sale (CPDA Magnet Leadership or at the Student Store).

Applications are now open, until May 8th. This is not a race. You have a whole week to apply. Only complete applications will be considered for the event. Questions? See Ms. Dozois AFTER SCHOOL in room 401.

Grant's incredible Academic Decathlon team won 3rd place in the overall competition in Sacramento.  Out of 68 teams from across the state of California, Grant scored 3rd place in state and was the highest scoring LAUSD team!

Our faculty and staff look forward to meeting you, answering your questions, and providing you with an opportunity to see what your students have been working on this semester.

On Wednesday, March 6th, Grant will be offering the PSAT to all 9th grade students and the SAT to all 11th grade students, free of charge, during the school day. Students in grades 10 and 12 will be involved in grade-level specific activities during the testing period.

It's imperative that ALL students arrive early on Wednesday so that testing can begin on schedule. Breakfast will be served from the cafeteria windows beginning at 7:15am. All students should be in their assigned location no later than 7:50am.
