We invite you to join our Local District Northeast Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, July 22 @ 10:30am - 11:30am via Zoom.

Our offices are closed July 1 - July 22 so our staff members can take a well-deserved break. Grant offices will re-open on July 23. Counselors will return to work in August and will be available for communication about fall schedules closer to the start of the school year.

Summer School continues. You can contact Summer School principal Ms. Bloom via e-mail ([email protected]) or Summer School counselor Ms. Kolway by e-mail ([email protected]) if you need assistance with a summer school-related matter.

Students are in their final week of summer school. Students make sure you're making progress in ALL your summer school classes.  With only one week left, it's important to submit any missing assignments and earn the credits you need.

Earlier this week, Superintendent Beutner shared the plans for the beginning of the school year.  In recognition of the increasing cases of COVID-19 and the guidance from our local and state authorities, all LAUSD schools will open the school year in the distance learning model.

It will be imperative for students to start the year with the learning tools they need.  If your student needs a Chromebook or hot spot, please contact us so we can issue a device before the school year begins ([email protected]).  Grant HS Offices are closed until Thursday, July 23, but we invite you to contact us after that day to make arrangements for a device for any student who needs one.

Beginning in mid-March, we checked out approximately 1,000 Chromebooks to students. Students who plan to return to Grant in the fall do NOT need to return their Chromebook and/or Hot Spot at this time. However, we are collecting Chromebooks from graduates and students who plan to attend a different school in the fall.

Chromebooks were assigned to individual students. Chromebooks MUST be returned before withdrawing and/or transferring to another school.

Please take the survey linked below to indicate your plans for the 2020 - 2021 school year and whether we need to collect a Chromebook from your student.

Graduation Parade is Monday, 6/15 from 1:00 - 2:00pm.

Diploma distribution is Tuesday, 6/16 and Wednesday, 6/17.

Future Lancers can enroll online or by picking up an enrollment packet from the Main Office. Social distancing protocols and safety measures must be followed. Completed packets can be dropped off at the Main Office on designated dates.

Due to the school closures, packets are only available on specific dates and times.

Textbook returns continue! Students from any grade level who have not yet returned their textbooks should come between 10:00am - 2:00pm on the days listed below.
